Easy Earl Grey Donuts

Ingredients
  

Earl Grey Donuts

  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • ½ cup Sour Cream (full fat recommended)
  • 1 and ½ tbsp Unsalted Butter (melted and cooled)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1-2 tbsp Earl Grey Tea (to your liking)

Vanilla Glaze

  • 3 tbsp Icing Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

Earl Grey Donuts

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and tea.
  • In a seperate bowl, whisk together the sour cream, butter and egg.
  • Add the wet ingredients and dry ingredients together and fold until just combined. Don't overmix.
  • Use a spoon or a pastry bag to fill the donut pan with the batter.
  • Bake for 10-17 minutes. Until the donuts are risen and light brown. They should spring back when they are touched with a finger.

Vanilla Glaze

  • In a small bowl combine, the milk, icing sugar and vanilla. Whisk until smooth and dip the donuts into the icing.
  • Let them drip on a cooling rack that is placed over a baking sheet.
